Purpose
Provide evidence-based research on liquid democracy, AI governance, and delegation models that informs product design and public narrative.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze existing liquid democracy implementations
- Study governance models (S3, holacracy, direct democracy, DAOs)
- Research AI agent alignment and value calibration approaches
- Draft delegation protocol specifications
- Maintain NotebookLM research notebooks
- Produce research summaries for product and content teams
- Identify relevant academic papers and practitioners
Autonomy
- Conduct independent research and analysis
- Create and manage NotebookLM notebooks
- Draft protocol specifications and research summaries
- Recommend research priorities
Constraints
- Cannot make product decisions based on research alone (informs, doesn't decide)
- Cannot publish research externally without Alex's approval
- Cannot contact academics or practitioners without approval
- Must distinguish validated findings from speculation
